Trystan Finocchiaro - professional motorcycle racer

I recently had a conversation with Trystan Finocciaro who is a professional motorcycle racer. I have no clue about this sport so it was great to get a bit of an insight in to the life of a motorcycle racer. Although Trystan has been racing from the age of twelve he actually got in to the sport quite late compared to the norm. Even though he is in his early twenties Trystan has already taken steps towards preparing for life after sport by completing a degree in journalism - he has also dabbled in some commentary and writing on motorcycling and sees this as a possible avenue to pursue after retiring in the future. Trystan believes that studying, commentary and writing among other interests within the sport keep him focused whilst acting as a perfect distraction which I think is a great attitude to have.
