WWE released the following statement in regards to sexual assault allegations made against SmackDown superstar Matt Riddle by independent wrestler Candy Cartwright: “We take any allegation of this nature very seriously and are looking into the matter.” WWE also released a statement on sexual assault/harassment allegations against NXT UK’s Wolfgang, Jordan Devlin, Travis Banks, El Ligero, and Joe Coffey: “Individuals are responsible for their own personal actions. WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated.
