Stacey Tickner is a hairstylist from Sacramento California. Her first experience with alcohol was at the age of 13, and her drinking career began at the age of 23. What started as just "social drinking" escalated to "problem drinking" over a 10 year period, which left her unable to moderate her own use. As the desire to stop drinking couldn't overpower the impulse to continue, she realized that she needed help. In 2015 Stacey began to seek Recovery in various forms to aid her in her process towards a life free of consequences caused by addiction to alcohol. She has found great value in listening to Recovery podcasts and has begun a path of implementing a Buddhist approach known as Refuge Recovery.
