Legends, A Knight of Shadows, and Metamorpho
from The Secret Origins Podcast
Mike and Lupis dig into three Justice League episodes: "Legends" (Parts 1-2), where the Flash accidentally transports himself, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and John Jones to a 1950s alternate Earth controlled by a psychic illusion; "A Knight of Shadows" (Parts 1-2), featuring Morgan Le Fay's magical assault on the League with John Jones repeatedly falling victim to illusions of his lost Martian family; and "Metamorpho" (Parts 1-2), where Rex Mason transforms into a shapeshifting powerhouse caught between his love for Sapphire and revenge against Simon Stagg. They discuss the homages to 1960s Batman, the voice cast (including Neil Patrick Harris and Tom Sizemore), character development for Green Lantern, and recurring themes of memory and loss across all three stories.
