Flash and Substance, Dead Reckoning, and Patriot Act
from The Secret Origins Podcast
The podcast covers three Justice League Unlimited Season 5 episodes. "Flash and Substance" follows the Flash's rogues gallery—Mirror Master, Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang, and Trickster—as they team up to kill Wally West, with Mark Hamill's final DCAU voice role as Trickster. "Dead Reckoning" has Grodd stealing the soul of Nanda Parbat's temple to power a device that transforms the Justice League into giant apes and rewrite humanity's DNA, ending with Deadman forced to kill Devil Ray and facing eternal consequences. "Patriot Act" sees General Eiling inject himself with a 60-year-old super-soldier serum to become a monstrous brute and attack Metropolis, only to be confronted by a team of non-powered Justice League reservists and ultimately humbled by ordinary citizens.
