TST 5/23/23 - Thieves of Contradiction

Too many of us have unwittingly delegated our intellectual and spiritual needs to third parties, placing us on autopilot and inhibiting introspection. We thus fall into contradictory and opposing beliefs, known as the ‘thieves of contradiction’ which are crucified on either side of Jesus Christ. Like the famous savior, however, Buddha also found peace in the harmony of a center pathway. As far away as Japan there is the practice of Shinto, of the Kami-Way. By Kami we are to understand a visual assistance for the honoring and respecting of family, community, nature, and our daily obligations.
