Idea: Scientists predict that a landslide on a tiny island off the coast of Africa could create a mega-tsunami across the entire East Coast of the US. Since such a small thing (a landslide on a tiny island) can create a tsunami, it should also be possible to design a giant machine to create a tsunami.
