TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. In the gospel of John 4:34 Jesus states: "My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work". In this lies our peace, happiness, sense of fulfilment and serenity. Mary the Mother of Jesus Christ understood this fact, hence in her quest to fervently do the will of God she acclaims in her response to the Archangel Gabriel "I'm the handmaid of the Lord, let it be done to me according to your word. Seek to do the will of God above all things for you're but his servant.
