TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Whatever we do that is not prompted by, motivated by and targeted at doing the will of God, no matter how religious or lawful or laudable, is but folly and often evil. The law in itself and by itself alone has no power to save, only the will of God does. The law devoid of the will of God destroys what it promises to save. It is only in the doing of the will of God that the law finds meaning. In all things and at all times seek to do the will of God above anything else.
