Tuesday, 11 August 2026: Modest Declines as Markets Digest U.S - Iran Lasting Resolution

US equity markets booked modest declines amid growing doubts that the U.S. and Iran will come to a lasting resolution to the conflict in the near term and as investors eyed key economic data releases later in the week  – Dow slipped -61-points or -0.11%. Nvidia Corp fell -2.86% to be the worst performer in the 30 stock index. A person familiar with the matter told Reuters that a group of financial firms, including Apollo Global and Blackstone is working with Nvidia to put together a US$500B funding package for AI infrastructure development. Chevron Corp rallied +4.48% s oil prices jumped.
