Please excuse the sudden lack of updates, it seems I lapsed from day-by day studies, to weekly messes. I'm back on track once again. This is a remix of "The times of solace" from my 2012 album "Some time past", released via Duskdarter netlabel. This reimagining is closer to the original mock-up I made back in 2011. Once of the many tracks that lay dormant for more than a year after the initial creative explosion. Instruments used: Piano, Roland XP-10, Coffee percolator (hey, this counts, right?), guitar. Software used: SPEAR, FL Studio, Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch This collection of audio exploration was inspired by a conversation with Hammer On String (aka. Sarah babetown) and a quote by Chuck Close. An ongoing series of (almost) daily (ha) sound design and experimentation. "Inspiration is for amateurs - the rest of us just show up and get to work"
