Tuesday 2nd Sept: LIVING IN WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING

Proverbs 4:7, which says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (KJV). Living in wisdom and understanding is crucial for every believer. It helps us navigate life’s challenges and build meaningful relationships while maintaining our godliness.James 3:17 (NIV): “But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.”Main Message:Relating with Others: As Christians, we are called to live in the world but not be of the world. This means we should not isolate ourselves or act as though we are superior to others. Jesus Himself interacted with all kinds of people, showing love and compassion. Being a Christian doesn’t mean you shop at a different market, breathe different air, or walk under a different sun. Learn to relate with people, be friendly, and exhibit strong character while maintaining your godliness. This is what distinguished Joseph in Egypt, Daniel in Babylon, Esther in Persia, Ruth in Bethlehem, and Jesus in His ministry.Exhibiting Strong Character: Joseph, Daniel, Esther, and Ruth are excellent examples of individuals who lived in wisdom and understanding. Joseph’s integrity and wisdom led him to become a powerful leader in Egypt (Genesis 41:39-40).
