Good morning friends! Today we have the chair of the Kendall County Democratic Party, Brooke Shanley with us today! Our topic today will be gun safety & reform and recent Kendall County issues. Here is the news: - The Neighbor Project is hosting a Homebuyer Education Seminar taking place at the Aurora Public Library, Illinois (Santori Library) in downtown Aurora on Thursday, August 4th. Presented live on the Facebook page of the library, we will begin at 6 pm and it will be in both english & spanish. Registration is required. We’ve got lots of great things planned with our community partners. This is hosted by Illinois House District 84 and will be held from 10 am to 1 pm. This is a free and fun event open to the public and will be held rain or shine. Bring the family out for a good time, we hope to see you there! #awesome - Saturday, September 25th from 9:30 to 11:30 am there will be a Kane County Expungement Clinic hosted by the Kane County State's Attorney's Office and the Kane County Circuit Court Clerk's Office. Registration is required, this will take place at Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin. Staff from the circuit clerks office will be on hand to answer questions and for assistance. For more information you can contact the office of the circuit clerk at the email and phone number listed on the flyer. We enjoyed this conversation very much.
