What is the difference between grace and mercy? Aren't they the same thing? In today's message, Pastor Ron acknowledges that grace and mercy are different and that God gives us both. When a cop pulls us over for speeding on the way to church, he may let us off with a warning. That’s mercy. He shows us grace when he goes back to his car and brings us our favorite donut and our favorite coffee. God's mercy means we don't get what we deserve, which is Hell. God's grace is when we get something unmerited, that is, life with God forever. Let's worship God for His mercy and grace.
