Jesus was gentle and patient. This doesn’t mean He was weak or timid. He did have moments where His anger rose to the surface. All too often, when we get angry, it’s out of weakness and fear. Jesus’ anger was only displayed out of His righteousness and compassion when He saw people abusing others in some way. As Pastor Dan will challenge us in today’s message, if we’re going to be like Jesus, we’ll need the help of His Holy Spirit to impart patience, kindness, gentleness, and self-control.
