All it took for Adam and Eve to break their perfect relationship with their Creator was one act of disobedience. He had specifically told them not to eat of that tree, but they were tempted by Satan to think they could be like God – which would lower His status and elevate theirs. It was selfish to the core. As Pastor Dan will explain in today’s message, that’s all it takes to separate us from God. You might live a perfect life in every other regard, but giving even one sinful thought a foothold is enough.
