The story of the Gospel hinges on the problem of sin. Because after all, why would Jesus come to save a world if sin wasn’t real? That’s why Pastor Dan is so adamant in today’s message that the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is true and accurate. If sin didn’t exist, it wouldn’t have made sense for Jesus to die on the cross for the sake of humanity. But it’s precisely because mankind is destined for its own destruction that it needs an outside intervention, a Savior to help change its course.
