As Pastor Dan continues his teaching series through the book of Romans, he’ll explain that everyone is a slave in the spiritual sense. We are either slaves to sin, which is our natural state, or we are slaves to Christ. Once you come to Christ in repentance and receive forgiveness for sin, you are empowered by the Holy Spirit who comes to live within you. It’s by His power that you can resist sinning and become slaves of righteousness. Sin no longer has dominion over you; you can now say no to sin!
