We’ve probably all had a moment of desperation, when life feels like it’s falling apart and we pray something like, “Lord, if You get me out of this, I promise I’ll serve you forever.” Sound familiar? The problem with making a vow out of desperation is that when the conditions improve, our commitment to the vow might change as well. Making a vow to God is actually a really good thing, when done the right way. Today, Pastor Dan explains what it means to make a promise to God, and how to do it right.
