The book of Acts opens when a powerful scene. The disciples are huddled together in an upper room of a house praying in one accord. Suddenly, the promised Holy Spirit descends upon them from heaven. Then, the Apostle Peter preaches a message that adds thousands to the church in one day. In today’s message, Pastor Danny teaches us that the Holy Spirit is what empowered the first century church to do the work of the ministry. We too need the Spirit to indwell us and give us power from on high to fulfill our God-given mission on earth.
