from The Ron Show · host Ron Roberts

Why's the resignation of a rural Georgia county's elections board chairman a bigger deal than you might think? Well, it's Coffee County, and the "rot" is at least two people deep in just that one county, and yet there's no appetite at the Georgia Secretary of State's office to find out if the rot's even deeper (or in other counties). There's also no appetite for insulating the state's 2024 election results against the possible use of breached data to change outcomes. We want to know why. Marilyn Marks, executive director of the Coalition for Good Governance, sought Wendell Stone's ouster, and joined me today to explain why. Atlanta mayor Andre Dickens wrote an ELEVEN PAGE response to Rev. Senator Raphael Warnock, who questioned the city's handling of the #CopCityVote referendum process. A CopCityVote spokesperson - who's also a rapid response director with Fair Fight Action - took twelve tweets to clap back. I'll have the blow-by-blow. Lastly, it's no small thing that a sitting President joined a union picket line today, but let's also not ignore that Donald Trump's trying to also claim the "working folks' leader" title - but I have receipts.
