Tulane Baseball Suffers Home Sweep, Losing to Creighton

Tulane baseball suffered a tough loss to Creighton, dropping the series finale 5-4. Despite Jake Toporeks strong relief performance, the Green Wave couldnt overcome an early deficit. Creightons solo home runs in the first and second innings, along with additional runs, gave them a 4-1 lead by the fifth. Tulane rallied with Hugh Pinkneys homer and Kaikea Harrisons two-run blast in the seventh, tying the game at 4. However, a late chance in the eighth fell short. Key performers for Tulane included Pinkney, Harrison, and Tye Wood. The bullpen showed resilience but couldnt secure the win. This defeat marks Tulanes first home non-conference sweep since 2024 and extends their losing streak to five games. Up next, Tulane hosts UNO on March 17th and Northwestern State on March 18th.
