Tulsa's Golden Hurricane Host NIT, Aim for Historic Win

Tulsas Golden Hurricane mens basketball team, ranked top seed in the NIT, hosts Stephen F. Austin in a highly anticipated matchup. The Golden Hurricane, with a record-breaking season, boasts a starting five with the third-best plus-minus in the nation. Led by head coach Eric Konkol, who recently achieved his 200th career win, the team has shattered school records and earned their first All-Conference trio since 2002-03. With a dominant offense, Tulsa leads the league in scoring margin, field goal percentage, and threes. A win in this first-round game would secure their place in the NIT second round, marking another historic milestone in an exceptional season.
