An event that flattened trees for miles, with a butterfly-shaped crash site but no crater, it serves as a reminder that the sky can throw fireballs at us whenever it feels like it. How fun. I also can’t get over the sky glowing for days after the event, that seems insane to me and if I saw that, especially in the early 1900s I’d definitely think the world was ending so I don’t know how the people who witnessed it got through it.
