Tuomaala Heads to Sweden | Philadelphia Flyers News

Flyers’ second-round pick Samu Tuomaala is heading overseas to Sweden, signing a two-year deal with Linkoping HC after falling short in North America. Picked 46th overall, he struggled with injuries and underwhelming stats—just 26 goals in 118 games—and was traded to Dallas before being sent packing from Philly. The Swedish team sees potential, especially on the power play, and believes his best hockey is still ahead. He’ll join former Flyers teammate Cooper Marody in Europe—a familiar route for players who didn’t crack the NHL. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
