Tuomi Forrest is the executive director of Historic Germantown, a partnership of 20 extraordinary historic houses, destinations, and museums in Northwest Philadelphia that have joined together to protect, preserve, and share some of Philadelphia’s prized historical assets. The Historic Germantown Visitor Center will be unveiled on July 9th. The $100,000 reimagining of the Germantown Historical Society building expands the Visitor Center into a welcoming gateway featuring two new exhibition galleries and a gift shop. The space was created to help visitors better understand Germantown's rich history before exploring the neighborhood itself.
