Tupac Murder Trial Finally Begins | Las Vegas News

After nearly 30 years, the trial of Duane Davis — aka Keffe D — the man accused of murdering Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas in 1996, is finally set to begin. Originally scheduled for June, the case has been delayed but now opens on August 17th with opening statements. Davis has given conflicting interviews — admitting involvement in a book for profit, then claiming he wasn’t even in Vegas that night — contradicting his earlier assertion he was in the car beside Tupac when shot. The prosecution must untangle these shifting stories as the long-awaited courtroom drama unfolds live for the first time in decades.
