Turkish President has met his Tanzanian counterpart in Dar es Salaam for talks

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met his Tanzanian counterpart John Magufuli in Dar es Salaam on Monday to discuss trade and security. Erdogan urged president Magufuli to shut down institutions linked to a Muslim cleric who is accused by Turkey of leading a failed coup last year in that country. The two leaders also signed agreements of cooperation between both countries which is part of Turkey's effort to improve relations with Africa. Gabriel Zakaria has more from Dar es Salaam.....
