Turn of the Tide | Episode 6

from Mission History · host Black Barrel Media

A new American commander arrives in the South to lead the reconstructed Continental army. But as the bulk of the southern army regroups and plans a new strategy, a force of rugged frontiersmen from the Appalachian Mountains win a stunning victory. The Battle of Kings Mountain turns the tide of the war, though the combatants will only realize it over the course of time. Meanwhile, in the North, an American military hero, Benedict Arnold, becomes increasingly disenfranchised. He makes a deal with the British and begins a secret campaign to undermine American defenses. When his treachery is discovered, he switches sides and leads British troops in battle against his former countrymen. ~~~ Mission History is a collaboration of Black Barrel Media and QCODE.
