Turn off the TV
This week marks the fifth anniversary of when the pandemic officially began in the United States, a moment that drastically changed the lives of everyone—from business owners to hospital staff, and really, every single American. In fact, it’s fair to say that just about everyone around the world was impacted by the events that unfolded starting in March 2020. In this episode, Billy shares his thoughts on the news media and the voices we listen to—whether through a television screen or on the radio. Is it enough to trust the people we’re told to believe? Or is it more important to do our own research? And maybe, just maybe… based on the title of this episode, should we simply turn off the TV?
