Long BIO - Marvin Levine Born on the North Shore of Boston in 1959 in Beverly, Massachusetts, Marvin Levine grew up inclined toward Math and Science. He received an Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He worked as a Quality Manager for thirty-eight years in the metals and printing industries in Birmingham, Alabama, Decatur, and Chicago, Illinois. Marvin has always had a creative streak. He’s tried his hand at poetry and songs but realized he couldn’t sing and decided to turn toward books. Marvin has always been an avid reader and made several attempts to write during his management career, which seemed to end quickly and badly. Years later, two events preceded his writing in earnest. The first was his father’s funeral and the second revolved around his stepdaughter’s divorce. In 2017, Marvin continued to put the emotional juices of supporting his stepdaughter’s divorce to work and wrote his first novel, The Broken Wire. Books that followed are Clairvoyance Rain and Graceless in Salem, an unpublished work waiting for its day in the sun. Now retired and living with his wife in the beach community of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, Marvin penned his most recent novel in 2020, A Trail of Vengeance. You can find his published works on Amazon.com Marvin shares, “Above all, I write because of my passion for turning ideas, concepts, and pictures conjured in my imagination into words, prose, and a compelling story other people will enjoy reading. It truly gives me great pleasure to present a finished product.”
