‘Turning Pain Into Purpose’ With Motivational Speaker, Fabi Powell

On this episode of The Power of Love Show we welcome special guest, Fabi Powell. Fabi Powell lost her Army Ranger husband, Josh, to Synovial Sarcoma cancer at 29 years old. She started the Josh Powell Foundation in his honor to help encourage newly diagnosed patients and fulfill the wishes of those running out of time. At 33, she started IVF to have her late husband’s baby. Two years later, still no baby, but by the grace of God and an incredible team of doctors, she’s still fighting for their dream. She shares her story to give others hope—reminding them that joy does coexist alongside unimaginable pain, and that it can, and will, exist for them too. She believes there is still beauty to be found in life after earth shattering loss; that there is extraordinary love on the other side of debilitating fear; and that impossible dreams can become reality with enough faith and resilience. Fabi believes, “Life is hard, but it’s too short to let the hard outweigh the beauty.
