Turning Setbacks into Opportunities

During the recent Purpose Passion Profits Mastermind call, a member shared his disappointment after his plans at work fell through. He had been anticipating leading a division focusing on finishing out tiny houses within the company he currently works for, which specializes in constructing sheds and storage buildings. Unfortunately, he learned that this division would not be established for a few years, leaving him unsure about his future career path and feeling unsatisfied with his current role. We spent most of an hour brainstorming ideas to help him move forward in starting his own business without facing significant financial risks or abruptly quitting his job. We came up with multiple strategies to launch his tiny homes venture while maintaining a good relationship with his current employer, who would potentially provide the building shells for his projects. By reframing the situation and focusing on potential opportunities, Brian was empowered to consider various paths forward and take actionable steps towards establishing his own business. The Purpose Passion Profits Mastermind was created to help Christian Millennial Men in building a business centered around their passions - finding or creating work that they truly love.
