Turtle Marriott - What You Don’t See

I am joined by James Marriott, or as most people call him, Turtle.Turtle is one of those people who just has this positive energy about him. He’s deeply grounded, especially when it comes to the bush, and he carries that strength into all parts of his life. He’s a proud dad to four — Sophie, Elke, Alice, and Lachie — and he’s married to the wonderful Nicky. Together, they’ve built a beautiful life and run a family business up in Brisbane.Turtle’s story actually starts back in South Australia. He went to Ag college there before making the move up to Queensland, where he’s really planted roots and built not just a life, but a strong sense of community around him.Like so many of us, Turtle’s journey hasn’t always been straightforward. There have been tough times and a lot of uncertainty along the way. What stands out about him, though, is how he’s faced those moments — with resilience, honesty, and a whole lot of heart. He’s incredibly relatable, and I think some of you might be surprised to hear the full story behind that calm presence.
