George Hardy, one of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen, has died at 100 at his home in Sarasota, Florida. A Philadelphia native, Hardy flew missions in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross and 12 Air Medals. He later worked as an engineer and educator and spent decades preserving the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen, highlighting both their combat service and fight against racism.
