For years Bob was credited as the sole creator for Batman and it wasn't until 2015, with the release of Batman Vs Superman, that Warner Bros. acknowledged Bill Finger as the co-creator. The Writer, Finger, had significant influence over the costume design including giving him his distinctive cowl, cape and gloves. Recommendations for Batman stories which have influenced this movie: Dark Knight Returns (Frank Miller) The Killing Joke (Alan Moore, Brian Bolland) For Movie Background: The movie was hailed as both a critical and financial success, grossing over $400M at the box office.
