Česká republika má jedny z nejlepších služeb pro nevidomé na světě. Je to tím, že v minulosti vzali sami nevidomí své záležitosti do vlastních rukou a začali se zasazovat o odstraňování bariér. Dnes si už ani neuvědomujeme, kolik je práce za tím, že máme více než ve 30 městech ozvučené linky MHD nebo hmatově rozlišené mince, vodicí linie, navigační majáčky a další prvky usnadňující život nevidomým. O tom, jak to vše začalo, co vše se postupem času podařilo přizpůsobit větší bezpečnosti a lepší orientaci nevidomých a jak můžeme i my sami přiložit ruku k dílu a tvořit si svět bezpečnější, povídal Mgr.
