TWD: Dead City S3E6 "Genesis"

Reposted from Walking Dead ‘Cast, which you can find at: https://podcastica.com/podcast/the-cast-of-us — Ben and Alex are back to break down The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3, Episode 6, “Genesis,” and an episode that may not advance the main story very far—but could be one of the most important explorations of Maggie and Negan the franchise has ever given us. This week, they dive deep into what this alternate timeline reveals about the core of both characters: Maggie’s lifelong struggle to let go of the past, Negan’s inability to control his darker impulses even when his intentions are good, and the fascinating idea that these two may be destined to find and influence one another no matter what life they’re living. They also discuss the emotional return of Beth, how differently Maggie’s life may have unfolded without the apocalypse, the episode’s themes of fate and choice, and whether Maggie and Negan’s connection runs even deeper than either of them realizes. Plus, plenty of listener feedback from “Imperialis,” some fantastic hidden details and callbacks scattered throughout the alternate New York, theories about what all of this means heading into the final two episodes, and a special message for the Zedheads from The Walking Dead’s Ross Marquand!
