Hiraeth is a welsh word which loosely translates as a deep, bittersweet feeling of longing and nostalgia for something that is absent or lost. This feeling is perfectly encapsulated in the latest album from Twelve Days In June, called Hiraeth. In this record Dave has explored themes of grief, isolation and mortality. Its a guitar forward, 90's alternative rock inspired piece of magic which I have been looking forward to chatting with Dave about. This is a public episode.
