25th Episode!
The Appaloosa Radio Podcast has just posted its 25th episode, bringing Season 1 production to a close.
We have shared some new stories and some old favorites, including Nell Trustmon’s Broken Tree Tales, Jonas Chartogaro’s Lies & Detection, and a newly re-written City of 4000 Spies.
Take your choice: western ghost towns, nefarious atomic spy rings, or Dusko Rarrko, the second son of the Nineteenth Great Nobleman of Sassko.
We threw in OSKAR 44-070-256, Lauren’s “EeKK//” and a real-life police show, and several terrific personal dramas from the “Through Panes of Glass” collection.
A very diverse first season!
We are also pleased that the Appaloosa Radio Podcast can be accessed through: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Podfriend, Castro, Castbox, and Overcast.

Appaloosa Radio’s “Seldom Seen” Challenge
The urban video poem runs –
The bus was too full
So, I couldn’t get on
I could not go where I always go
My usual
My consistent
My regular
Not possible
Could not go where I always go
So, I took a walk
To places often passed by
But never seen
Appaloosa Radio is issuing a challenge to its listeners. Find a place “close by” but “seldom seen.” A place in your immediate neighborhood or close to your place of work or your school. A place that is close by you physically, but for whatever reason is a place that you seldom see or visit.
Your ordinary, your habitual, your regular means that you go another way.
So, our challenge is to find a place, close by, that you seldom see. Once you have found such places, we invite you to share the stories that you find there with us.
Again, these are places close by, but because of your routine, you never interact with.
Jim-J is the member of our staff who will be coordinating listener stories. We have posted his e-mail address earlier in these notes Send him your stories. We’ll narrate them and post them on Appaloosa Radio.
Find a place, close by, but seldom seen. Share the story from what you find.
