In which Bethanie, Lindsey, and Samantha discuss Chapter 5 of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Chapter 5 Summary: “Blood Type” At lunch, Edward invites Bella to sit with him. She’s confused by his sudden friendliness, and he cryptically says, “I might as well do it thoroughly.” He warns he’s not good for her, and they discuss how mysterious they find each other. When she jokes he was bitten by a radioactive spider, he laughs but asks, “What if I’m the bad guy?” Bella senses he’s dangerous—but not evil.Later, during a blood-typing class, Bella faints at the sight of blood. Edward swoops in, carries her to the nurse, and arranges for her to go home early. On the drive, they connect over music and family.
