In this week's investigation Hot On The Case covers the case of Elliot Rodger, a young man whose feelings of rejection and growing resentment of women eventually escalated into a devastating act of violence in Isla Vista, California, in 2014. This case became a well known true crime case because in addition to the tragic attack, Elliot also posted a series of very strange online videos available to the public, sharing his dark thoughts and beliefs. Then, in the days leading up to the attack, Rodger left behind his final writings and videos detailing his anger, grievances, and deadly plans.
