Two Career Criminals Caught in Mail Heist | San Antonio News

Two notorious mail thieves, Sean Martinez and Skylar Carter, were arrested in Hollywood Park after police pulled over their vehicle with stolen plates. Officers found nearly 400 pieces of stolen mail—and evidence Martinez was crafting fake postal box keys—suggesting a sophisticated theft ring. Both are repeat offenders with nearly 40 prior charges between them; this bust adds fresh mail theft accusations to their records. Authorities believe they were en route to more crimes when caught. The investigation continues as agencies work to identify victims, with stolen mail traced to areas like San Antonio. Experts urge listeners to monitor bank accounts, set fraud alerts, and avoid mailing sensitive documents to protect themselves from identity theft.
