Two Kids Saved in Flames | Dayton News

Two young kids trapped in a blazing car—saved by a fearless team of deputies and medics. Champaign County Sheriff’s Office Deputies Ashley Walter and Bailey Ramsey, along with Mechanicsburg Fire Department Medic Thad Davis and EMT Jason Rithey, raced into danger, smashed windows, cut through harnesses, and pulled the children to safety—all while flames raged. Their heroic teamwork earned them top honors at the Ohio Attorney General’s Distinguished Law Enforcement Awards. A true reminder of courage when it matters most.
