David has facilitated more than 50 startups (or bigger) across the years, with current activities in the hemp, blockchain, cybersecurity, mental health and media spaces. Founding/IP creation activities include an AI-aligned psychological evaluation tool ("19-Questions"). David was Exec or Co-Producer on a number of movies including: jOBS (Ashton Kutcher), BRONX BULL, AMERICAN KING, CRAZY FOR THE BOYS, AHIMSA-GANDHI, etc., and is currently involved in developing SWEETWATER, RISE, George Benson's GIVE ME THE NIGHT, THE CIRCLE, LEAF OF FATE and MANDALA. His first feature film credit was for primary VR consultant/producing display graphics on THE LAWNMOWER MAN (1993).David is author of nearly 50 articles, has given nearly 100 speeches globally, earned Ed.M in Education from Harvard ('90) with focus on optimizing mental health education via VR with class-work at MIT Media Lab & Harvard’s Business School. In 1984 he earned undergraduate degrees in rhetoric & film with honors from the UC Berkeley.Personal passion is use of popular media/intelligent technologies for supporting positive social economic development, entrepreneurship/disruption and mental wellness impact.
