He was racially profiled and station profiled. The pics you see is the result of racial and status profiling, being placed in a hotel room that only a homeless guy would be thankful for. I paid over $180 for this room and was APPALLED when I walked in. It just so happened that two other Asian ladies were checking in to the room right next to us so I took the opportunity to ask them if I could compare my room to theirs. They were kind enough to say yes. The difference was stark to say the least. A decent hotel room vs. one that makes you cringe as like a $20 roach motel that has had hundreds of homeless come through. These are some pics that were taken by my employee when he woke up and was equally shocked. He was so tired at 2:30am that he told me to just forget about it. I truly believe he is just used to such unfair treatment that he doesn’t even fight it any more.I personally saw so much more disgusting things than what is shown in the pics. Here’s what else: zero phone in the room. No working alarm, one tiny and i mean TINY little lamp no bigger than my hand at the computer table. The only other light source was the bathroom. This room was stripped absolutely bare. SEVERAL walls were literally separating from each other at the corners. The wall paper was peeling off so dramatically that there was a 3 foot section of wall paper protruding off the wall by 6 inches located right at the entrance of the hallway. Paint was all over the curtains, zero artwork - only thing on the walls were unpainted squares and huge  patches of gauzed up holes which were also accompanied by unpatched holes right above the bed. The heater was in such bad shape it looked like it was about to fall off the wall. I immediately went down to speak with the Hispanic female manager to give her a piece of my mind and told her that my employee was being discriminated against from the start as i was standing right there next to the white male receptionist and saw the looks the white male gave my employee - it was looks of disdain and superiority which he then followed through with the action of placing my employee  in a hotel room designated for such. Manager kept denying that there was any profiling going on of course and offered to refund the $40 resort fee. She did not seem understand that money was not the problem as she offered it three more times thereafter but not the true issue. She put on her crocodile face and feigned ignorance so the matter wouldnt escalate. However, what didn’t realize what what i saw after we parted. You see… there is a piece of glass window at the entrance of the hotel that allows a very clear view into her office and what I saw after our convo was truly disturbing- this a Hispanic girl that grew up and who worked her way up to management has managed to talk herself into believing she is now part of the upper crust, was caught red handed giggling from ear to ear while she walked back to her office and continued this cruel laughter while telling the white receptionist what we had spoken about.
