Two Peas in a Pod Lost Together
from Dallas News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Two beloved neighbors, Collette Morrissey and Somloudee Roberts, were tragically killed in a crash involving an 18-wheeler on the Northeast Loop 820 Expressway. Known for their unbreakable bond, they spent their days together landscaping, swapping homes for fresh perspectives, and bringing joy to everyone around them. Morrissey, a community fixture who loved Bunco and staying connected, and Roberts, affectionately called Cookie, whose radiant spirit and love for cooking, dancing, and crafting made her unforgettable, left behind families shattered by their sudden loss. Their lives, marked by kindness, laughter, and deep connection, remind us of the profound impact one vibrant soul can have — and the heartbreak of losing two such luminous lives at once.
