Luke's entire description of the actual act of crucifying Jesus consists of three words (Luke 23:33 "...they crucified him...") Why do you think Luke gives so little description to an event that is so central to the Christian faith? 3. Luke spends time telling the story of the two men crucified with Jesus. What lessons do you draw from their stories? 4. Francis Spufford has written, "Taking the things people do wrong seriously is part of taking them seriously." What does that mean?
