Two Sides to Everything

from Innerwealth with Chris Walker · host Chris Walker Innerwealth

TRANSCRIPT Good morning, good afternoon, wherever you are. And today's pearl of wisdom is that there's two sides to everything. And this is the first universal law of nature. And you're going to go Duh, Chris, I know that. I know that. And by the way, as you're sitting here watching this video, get a good view of this. This is meditation in the best possible way. This is sitting out in nature, looking at nature, admiring nature. But if you don't know that there's two sides to everything, you're going to come to nature with a twisted angle. So if I say there's two sides to everything, what would you say about grief? Is there two sides to grief? What about losing something? Is there two sides to that? What about failure? Is there two sides to that? What about heartbreak? You know, most suicides happen because people see one side to something. And so two sides to everything sounds like the most simple thing you'll ever hear in your entire life. And it sounds benign and trivial. But actually, it solves 100% of the world's problems at an emotional, personal, mental health level. Nobody can have depression if they see two sides to everything. Nobody can have grief.Nobody can have heartbreak if they see two sides to everything. So what is an emotion? An emotion is a one-sided thought. If you have an emotion, it's because you're seeing one side to something. And that means you don't believe there's two sides to everything. In order to meditate, in order to be calm, in order to be tranquil, in order to be solid, in order to make decisions, in order to lead a business, in order to lead other people, you'll need to see that there's two sides to everything. Are you ready for it? You know, you can't work for a boss who has less consciousness than you.So if your boss can't see two sides to everything, and you can, end of job. You need to find a new one. This is Chris.Have a great day.
