Two Survivors Rescued from Nepal Tunnel | Miami News

Two workers trapped for days in a Nepali hydropower tunnel after deadly floods are rescued — a miracle that’s reigniting hope amid a disaster claiming over 1,200 lives and leaving thousands missing. Rescuers heard voices deep inside, pinpointing the survivors, who emerged covered in mud but stable — one simply said “thank you.” Families wept with relief, while engineers still trapped in the labyrinthine tunnels battle dwindling air supplies. The catastrophe, likely triggered by a glacier collapse, has also devastated Tibet, with dozens dead and hundreds unaccounted for.
